Delicious and beautiful hotel

The biggest surprise is that a hotel with such enormous potential doesn’t operate on an all-inclusive basis. 

It literally has everything you could wish for: a beautiful property, countless children’s activities, soccer, tennis, volleyball, water sports, a private Blue Flag beach, a fabulous spa, and even a yacht pier.

However, because the hotel doesn’t offer all-inclusive, be prepared to pay extra for all beverages at lunch and dinner — even water. Also note that there’s nowhere to go outside the grounds, with the nearest town located 15–18 km away. You’ll need to take a taxi or rent a car, which you can do right at the hotel. If you arrive in your own car, parking is free.

The grounds themselves are stunning, complete with multiple pools laid out in a cascading design. 

The beach, though, wasn’t my favorite: it’s a rather narrow strip with tightly packed sun loungers — a setup I don’t particularly love. But the thermal saltwater pool saved the day; it had a sort of “psychotherapeutic” effect on me. You’ll want to stay in that pool all day long, especially at the start of the season when the sea is still chilly.

The food here is delicious, especially the breakfasts and desserts. I’d recommend booking on a bed-and-breakfast basis, then visiting the а la carte restaurants and bars at an additional cost.

The rooms are new, stylish, and modern, and there are options with private pools. Higher room categories come with extra perks, but note that the concept can change, so be sure to check what’s included before booking.

The hotel also offers a broad kids’ concept, with a variety of activities for youngsters of different ages.

Overall, it’s a fantastic hotel. I’d love to stay here — particularly in May or June when it’s less crowded and the prices are decent.
